Family session

I did a family session for my wonderful brother and sister-in-law and their kids. I am very blessed to have such great in-laws, and I know how fast kids grow up, so I hope these will be treasured for a very long time.

My adorable nieces and nephew:

I remember seeing them each right after they were born like it was yesterday, I can't believe how they have each grown:

It was a really hot sunny day, but they held up great!

Favorite!

I wanted to make sure to get one of just the two of them, since once you have kids, well it doesn't happen too often:

Love this one too:

And this one, I have too many favorites.

Go Steelers!!

Chrissy & Denny E-pics

I did an engagement session last month with Chrissy and Denny who came in from Virginia to get some Pittsburgh pictures. They are great couple and are getting married next summer, I can't wait for the wedding!

I've been lucking out with beautiful flowers and sun flare:

They are perfect for each other:

I just love the colors here:

We headed over to Heinz then to get some shots in their jerseys:

I like the geese here, I think they thought Chrissy and Denny were there to feed them:

Gorgeous! This is one of my new favorite shots with the city lights reflecting on the water, awesome color!

See you guys next year!

Angie & John

Congratulations to Angie and John who tied the knot on August 2nd. They had a BEAUTIFUL ceremony and reception at Armstrong Farms in Saxonburg, which is one of my favorite venues in Pittsburgh. The landscape is incredible there, and is just a perfect place for a wedding.

Some of the amazing details, and notice the rings on their bird nest favors, love it!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Angie's dress, and I love the flower girl waving down the aisle:

ARE YOU KIDDING ME, what a PERFECT day for a wedding, look at those clouds!

The bridal party was up for a jump shot, though John got pulled down by his groomsmen lol:

These are some of my favorite wedding shots EVER, yummy sun flare!

Angie's dress fit right in with the scenery:

Hello reflection!

And some reception shots: Armstrong Farms also provides a bonfire at the end every wedding, love the Steeler bin!

Congratulations Angie and John, your day was amazing!!

Valerie

Some images of a senior portrait session I did. Valerie is a sweet, smart and gorgeous girl who also happens to be my children's babysitter (and we're going to miss her when she heads off to college). I was thrilled to be able to shoot her senior pictures though. Congrats to Valerie, class of 2009!

The colors in her eyes are just beautiful!

Valerie has been dancing since she was a little kid so we got a few shots in her dance studio:

As we were driving to our next location I spotted some weeds behind a bowling alley that looked good. I guarantee Valerie was the 1st person ever to take senior pictures there.

My favorite:

Another using the bowling alley wall:

Isn't she a hottie! (keep away boys, she's only 17)

Lindsey & Mike Epics

I spent an evening with Lindsey and Mike last month shooting their engagement session. We had a good time and I enjoyed getting to know them since it was out 1st time meeting in person. Lindsey is very into photography and photoshop, so we had a lot to talk about, she is my type of client! Did I mention they are also childhood sweethearts, they've been together for 9 years, I LOVE it! And they are getting married on their anniversary next year in April. I can't wait for the wedding!!

This was the very 1st picture I shot, I love the silhouette effect:

I think Lindsey's sweater fits right in with my blog colors:

We shot at the best time of day, right before sunset:

They are so cute! And I love how Lindsey's hair is catching the sun:

We headed over to the bridge for some fun shots:

Their blue tops contrasted well on the yellow bridge:

And we ended with some city shots at night, I love this one with the lights reflecting on the water:

See you in April Lindsey and Mike!
